Julianne McGill
I grew up on the Northeast side of Madison. A graduate of Madison East High School, I went on to earn an Associate Degree in Police Science from Madison College. I worked early on selling insurance and working in the closing departments of 2 Madison area Title Companies. I had a career of 17 years at American Family working in physical security management and business continuity. I retired in 2016 only to return to work the workforce for the Middleton Cross Plains School District to work 1:1 with students with disabilities. A family friend encouraged me to get my Real Estate license and well the rest is history!
My husband and I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary in 2019. We bought our first home in 1990 just two blocks from where I grew up and raised our three grown children in that same neighborhood. We haven’t moved “yet” and my 87 year old mother still lives in that very same house she bought with my dad over 50 years ago. Madison has been a wonderful city for me and my family to be the happy place we call home.
I have volunteered over the years devoting as much time as I can to my church, which you guessed it is on the Northeast side of Madison. I have also recently volunteered as a coach for the Girls on the Run of Southern Wisconsin and look forward to coaching again in 2020.
When I am not volunteering, I enjoy spending time with my family, my 3 dogs, and my 7 year old Godson Max and 7 month old great niece, Cora. I love the outdoors, traveling and watching all sports be it Badgers, Packers, Brewers, Bucks or the local Madison teams. I often joke that when I really decide to retire, I will have to look into being a sports commentator.
Whether it’s in Madison or the surrounding communities, I can’t wait to meet my future clients and to help work through their home buying and selling process providing my expertise and knowledge as your trusted advocate every step of the way to making sure your journey is as seamless as possible with the final destination exactly as expected from beginning to end.
