Hey there, I’m John! I grew up in Tennessee, where I met my wonderful wife whom I followed to Madison, Wisconsin to finish her PhD at UW Madison. I have lived on the Eastside of Madison for the past 5 years, and I have absolutely enjoyed my time exploring all that Wisconsin has to offer. I will gladly work with you wherever you live here in our beautiful state.

Finance & Real Estate have always been passions of mine. I went to college at Tennessee Technological University where I majored in Finance & Business Management. I then found myself working in the Insurance industry when I got out of college. While in insurance, I was in underwriting and sales. When I moved to Madison, I started my own business renting out my home in Tennessee, providing transportation services, and running Airbnb operations in our current home here in Madison. I truly enjoyed working with people in these roles and they allowed me to be a stay-at-home Papi. As my kids start school, I am now using my time to help people buy and sell their homes as they start their next exciting chapter of homeownership. The Real Estate market without a Realtor is like skydiving without a parachute, and as a Licensed Skydiver & Realtor I look forward to helping you navigate your way into your future home.

I’ve been married for 5 years to my wonderful wife, Dr. Nayomi Plaza Rodriguez, and we have 2 children, Haley and Aidan. Haley has just started 4k,which she is really excited about, while Aidan is keeping us on our toes as he is jumping off anything he finds. We have a dog named Hiccup that is our kids’ best friend. My family is my number one priority, and I enjoy spending as much time as possible with them.
