Bad Credit vs Low Credit – What’s Worse?

When it comes qualifying for a mortgage, different people have different issues. One of the most common concerns is qualifying for a home loan.  What happens if you have poor credit, or no credit? Which is worse? Matt & Jen from HomeTeam4u weigh in.

When you have negative things on your credit score, you have to work to clear those things off. Depending on what those bad marks credit score might be will determine how much work you’re going to have to put into repairing your credit score to qualify for a home loan.

With low credit, it’s like starting with a clean slate. This is something can can be built up.

What about bankruptcy?

With few exceptions, you likely will not be qualified for a home loan for 7 years after filing for bankruptcy.
