My family has owned and operated a farm in Cambridge since 1903. So, from an early age I knew what it meant to focus on the task at hand until it was done.
After graduating from Lakeside Lutheran High School in Lake Mills, I went on to get an Associate’s Degree in Mechanical Design. I then worked in the engineering department at Briggs and Stratton as a New Product Designer until I joined Stark Company Realtors in 1997.
That same year Jen and I started purchasing investment properties and established our personal real estate investment company, Victory Properties, LLC. Under the Victory Properties brand we personally own 29 rental units. Over the next few years I would help our clients to follow our template for success and purchase investment properties of their own all over Dane County.
The growing number of clients that committed to invest in real estate was overwhelming. Our clients who chose not to manage their own investments were having problems finding reliable management at a fair price. To meet that demand Jen and I starting another company. So, in 2006 Marquee Management Services, LLC was born.
That’s a lot of real estate experience. So, if it’s your first home or your 29th investment property, I am here to share my experience with you.
The continued education of a Realtor is important and just adds more experience to the agent. That combination can create a well rounded and knowledgeable Realtor. My Real Estate education designations include: Council of Residential Specialists (CRS), Graduate of the Real Estate Institute (GRI), Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR) and Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource (SFR). I have also continued my education to include receiving my Broker's license.
Jen and I have two boys, Caden and Carson. They are getting old enough now to start enjoying golf instead of just wanting to go fast in the golf cart. Both kids are also active in sports and school programs. On game days we are cheering on the Badgers, Packers and Brewers.
